Trichology Consultations

Concerned about hair loss, thinning, shedding or changes to your scalp? A trichology consultation provides the opportunity to take a closer look at your hair and scalp health and understand what may be contributing to your concerns.

During your consultation, we’ll discuss your hair and scalp history, when you first noticed changes, your current haircare routine, lifestyle and any other relevant factors. Your hair and scalp will then be assessed to help identify patterns and provide a clearer understanding of your concerns.

What can we discuss?

Trichology consultations can be helpful for clients experiencing:

  • Hair thinning or reduced density

  • Increased hair shedding

  • Changes in hair texture or condition

  • Scalp concerns

  • Dry, oily or flaky scalp

  • Itching or sensitivity

  • Changes in hair growth

  • Concerns following pregnancy or hormonal changes

  • Questions about your existing hair loss or haircare routine

What happens during a consultation?

Your consultation is completely personalised to you. We’ll take the time to understand your concerns and look at your hair and scalp rather than simply treating the visible symptoms.

We’ll discuss your concerns, hair history, lifestyle and relevant factors that may be contributing to changes in your hair or scalp.

Hair and scalp assessment
Your hair and scalp will be visually assessed to identify areas of concern and understand your current condition.

Personalised advice
You’ll receive practical recommendations based on your individual circumstances, including suitable haircare and scalp-care approaches.

Referral where appropriate
If your concerns appear to require medical investigation or treatment, I will recommend that you speak with your GP or an appropriate medical professional.

A personalised approach to your hair

Hair loss and scalp concerns can have many different contributing factors, so there isn't a single solution that works for everyone.

My approach is to listen, assess and educate, helping you understand your hair and scalp and what steps may be appropriate for you.

Whether you're experiencing gradual thinning, increased shedding or simply have concerns about changes in your hair, a consultation can be the first step towards understanding what's happening.

Please note: Trichology consultations are non-medical and do not provide a medical diagnosis or treatment. Where a medical condition is suspected or further investigation is required, you will be advised to seek assessment from your GP or an appropriate healthcare professional.
